Rick Held

has been starting with Melbourne’s Crawford Productions – then Australia’s premier producer of television drama – and has enjoyed a long career as a TV screenwriter.
He has worked both freelance and in-house on numerous popular drama series, and was for several years a Sydney-based staff writer for the 7 Network on some of its most successful productions: the top-rating medical and family dramas All Saints and Packed To The Rafters, and the internationally acclaimed period drama A Place To Call Home.

Inspired by a true story in his father’s wartime memoirs, Night Lessons in Little Jerusalem is Mr Held’s first novel.
